Step 2: Choose your package
Good sleep for your preteens
We have 3 Sleep Packages available for preteens, depending on your budget and where you are in your Sleep struggles.
- Our BRONZE SLEEP PACKAGE is our budget package for parents of 6-11-year-olds who are grappling with bad sleep tried lots of things and wonder why nothing is working.
- Our SILVER SLEEP PACKAGE is our intermediate service for 6-11 year olds who have struggled with sleep for months. If you’ve tried everything without success the 4-week Silver sleep package is recommended for your 6-11 year old child.
- Our GOLD SLEEP PACKAGE is our premium service for school children who have long-standing issues with falling asleep, frequent waking, sleep anxiety, need a parent nearby, poor behaviour, poor concentration, waking tired and missing school. If you’ve tried everything without success the 6-week Gold Sleep package is highly recommended.

6-11 Years Sleep Consultation Program
55 Minutes 1 on 1
Your initial consultation will be 55 minutes and can be conducted online or in-clinic in Heathcote, Victoria with our Sleep Practitioner Deb Herdman. This consultation will include a full sleep history, diagnosis and therapy plan.
3 x Weekly Follow Ups
After your initial consultation we will have 3 scheduled weekly follow up consultations to keep you on track to achieving your sleep goals. These follow up consultations will be 30 minutes each and can be conducted online or in-clinic. At the end of your 4 week program you will get a detailed post consultation report as well as resources to keep your new sleep habits and patterns in place for the long term.

My child is at school and is coming into my bed almost every night. We are not getting quality sleep. Can you help with this?
We work with many children that suffer sleep associated anxieties. Therapies often include cognitive, behavioural, sleep hygiene and techniques to help children stop frequent waking and fall asleep faster.
My doctor prescribed Melatonin for my child. Is this normally the best option? We prefer not to give medications.
Studies show Melatonin is over prescribed and better suited for children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Melatonin can be an effective short term measure used in conjunction with other therapies but we prefer to begin treatment without it. Mostly always kids learn to sleep using therapy alone.
We have to lie beside our 8 year old because she has so much anxiety about falling asleep. She worries about it and it is getting worse. Now it takes at least two hours and we feel frustrated.
Sleep anxiety is one of the causes of insomnia and it means falling asleep takes a long time and you become their sleep association. Often sleep is disrupted during the night and they rely on you being near instead of being able to resettle independently.
